That would have been great. My grandfather had an 87ish LTD Coupe and I still want one myself. A Country Squire variant of the later Panthers would have been cool too.

The MN-12's were just too heavy for their own good. Not to mention rust prone. A step back from the fox Cougars and T-Birds IMO.
